PEMEA, located in Ithaca, NY, is a contract assembler of printed circuit boards (PCB) and cables .  We do low to medium volume thru-hole technology (THT), surface mount technology (SMT), wave solder and inspection of assembled PCBs.

Contract Manufacturing and Assembly Capabilities

How does it work?

First, you provide us with the blueprints and the Bill of Materials (BOM). Next, you choose how you want the handle component procurement for your board or cable assemblies.  We offer three different options:

• Consignment: You buy the parts needed for your custom cable or PCB assemblies and send them to PEMEA as a kit.
• Drop-Ship: You buy the parts and have your vendor ship them to PEMEA. When you place an order we use the inventory previously sent to PEMEA to build your assemblies. If you choose this option, PEMEA provides you with an online tool that lets you see at anytime how much of your inventory we have on hand, find out how much inventory will be used based on the amount of assemblies you would like us to build, and provide direct links to your vendor's product page to make your ordering of components easier. • Turnkey: We buy the all the parts needed to assemble your cables or boards.

Once the parts are received, we build the assemblies to your specifications. To ensure quality, our inspections comply with both ANSI-IPC-A-610B Class #2 and ANSI-J-STD-001B standards. Higher standards are available at your request.
